Natural Resource Management

1. Training Introduction

Natural resources are the foundation of sustainable development, economic growth, and community resilience. Effective Natural Resource Management (NRM) ensures the responsible use, conservation, protection, and restoration of land, water, forests, biodiversity, minerals, and other natural assets.

This training is designed to equip participants with the technical, practical, and governance skills required to manage natural resources sustainably while addressing climate change, environmental degradation, and socio-economic challenges.

The primary objectives of the NRM training are to:
