Overview:
Foreign aid plays a critical role in supporting
development programs, infrastructure projects, and institutional reforms across
the globe. Effective management of donor-funded projects—particularly those
financed by institutions such as the World Bank, Asian Development Bank (ADB)
and the African Development Bank (AfDB)—requires a clear understanding of
their financial, procurement, operational and reporting frameworks.
This course is designed to equip government
officials, project managers, finance staff, and implementing agencies with the
essential knowledge and practical tools to manage aid-funded projects in
compliance with donor requirements. It covers the complete project lifecycle,
from project preparation and appraisal to procurement, disbursement, financial
reporting, audit, and monitoring.
