Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has
revolutionized the way agricultural and rural development initiatives are
planned, implemented, and monitored. From mobile advisory services and
precision farming tools to digital extension platforms and e-governance
systems, ICT empowers stakeholders with timely information, enhances
efficiency, and bridges gaps between farmers, researchers, policymakers, and
markets.
This training program is designed to strengthen
participants’ understanding and application of ICT tools and systems in
agricultural and rural development contexts. It focuses on digital innovations,
communication systems, data management, and ICT strategies that improve
productivity, market access, and rural livelihoods.
