Development of Cooperation and Networking Strategy Workshop for Senators and Parliamentarians

1. Introduction

In today’s interconnected legislative environment, national development and effective governance rely heavily on meaningful collaboration, strategic partnerships, and strong networking capabilities among lawmakers. Senators and Parliamentarians must engage with colleagues, committees, ministries, international organizations, civil society, and constituents with a high degree of cooperation and diplomatic skill.

This workshop, designed by FOTADE Training, Research and Resource Development Centre, equips legislators with modern cooperation frameworks, strategic networking tools, collaborative leadership methods, and practical techniques for strengthening relationships within and outside parliamentary structures.

The program emphasizes both domestic and international networking, inter-parliamentary diplomacy, conflict-sensitive collaboration, and partnership-building for development.
